What a fab - but very long - day!

Yanked from our slumbers at 4am by an early alarm call we dragged ourselves to life with cold showers.  Suitably enlivened, we headed downstairs to be picked up and driven to Dundas near Hamilton for CHCH Breakfast TV hosted in Ellenoire, a fabulous beauty boutique stocked with dreamy gorgeous lotions and fabulous tinctures.  Four live segments followed before we hit the local diner for breakfast and then said goodbye to our pal Noelle and shot back into Toronto for a shoot, in our condo, with Canadian Home Trends.  Martin, Sharyn and - another - Justin pulled together to make both of us very comfortable as they snapped our condo and discovered all sorts of cute angles and vignettes.  From what we saw it's gonna be a lovely spread and we're told we'll be cover boys into the bargain!

With just enough time for a shower we headed back downstairs to find that the car we'd been booked into was a MASSIVE white stretch limo!  Hells bell,  we felt like prom queens.  No comment!  It was all we were worth not to moon our the windows as the journey endured as that, we were reliably informed by a pal we phoned to rave about the slinky white vehicle, is what prom queens do.  We're SURE that statement doesn't apply to all of them...

Safely belted in, we headed up to Thornhill for a wonderful team dinner at The Octagon with Blanco, one of our favourite sink manufacturers.  Blimey we ate, drank and were VERY merry.   And then the fabulous white stretch arrived once again to whisk us home to our condo before we turned into pumpkins.  Have to say we were spoiled rotten by a wonderful crowd of people who were excellent company.

And now?  Well now we're back home with the kettle on and a pot of earl Grey brewing.  All good fun but OMG - we are POOPED!   But something GORGEOUS happened while we were out!!!  We recently selected a wonderful trellis design repositionable wallpaper for our condo from Muraldirect.com and it was installed for us while we were out with Blanco!  Coming back to it in its gorgeous splendour felt like having our own TV reveal!  It looks amazing.  If you check out our C and J Recommend section on this site you can see the one we selected.

In the meantime, if you'll excuse us, we'll need to get to sleep as a matter of critical urgency.  But of course there'll be more tomorrow...
