What we LOVE about Toronto...

But, just for starters, we adore this city when its Halloween.  WE LOVE the fact that neighbours can glam' their porches and stoops with wonderful spooky attire without fear of anyone bashing it all up or stealing the dressing.  Torontonians just wouldn't do that as they share a respect for their neighbourhood.

Getting into the party spirit last night we enjoyed a LUSH dinner with pals Cherri and David at a cute Queen West resto called COWGIRL.   The inspired menu is predominantly red meat - with a little fish here and there - and the staff are informed, friendly and relaxed.  We're def' fans and the beef and the elk were both great choices...

But anyway - back to Halloween.  We spotted several nuns on roller boots as well as a half dozen Marilyn Monroe's, not to mention a whole cast of scary faux wounded peeps having a brilliantly safe time as they troopped along Queen West.  Some of the prosthetics were astounding!  And all good fun...

This morning we're up with the larks (sipping glasses of water between glasses of wine seems, these days, to have removed the worry of hangovers!) but we're house bound for at least the first few hours as we generally dedicate Sunday's to writing our newspaper columns.  We NEVER file late and have build our reputation on being on time... at all times.  The Toronto Star and The Sunday Mail are both due tomoorrow morning as is Closer mag so we're glued to our office desk like good boys.

Later on this evening we're seeing our gorgeous angel Cheryl from Home Heist along with her lovely boyfriend Michael.  We're hooking up for dinner and then heading out  for some party fun in The Village.  Bring on the costumes...

More later,

Loads of love,
