Glasgow? Raining? Of course it is... but who cares? We\'re home!

OMG - the news is good!  Shrugged off our jet lag off with an ELEVEN hour sleep so our body clocks appear to be re alligning!  This criss cross Atlantic thing will never get us down!

We had a lunch time appointment with our lawyers to go over some paperwork for a project we're currently working on, and then we made it back to the house to meet the guys who are installing a wet room for us in a basement space.   This last job has been a lobg time in the planning cos we couldn't find a good product to ensure the floor remains completely watertight... but now we have and we're delighted.  FYI - should you need to attend to bathroom issues such as ours try Aqua Dec from Impey www.aqua-deck@impey-uk.com.

Gutted to find that Subway (no fuss sarnie haven) have moved out of our hood.  Mind you a branch of Greggs has just opened up nearby so that's some consolation.  Their steak bakes are to die for.  See?  We're loving real life.  We're not too posh to wash as the saying goes...

In other news we spent a couple of hours trying to get some  gifting organised in Toronto for a dear friend who's celebrating his 82nd birthday today.  We couldn't find a post box at Pearson Airport so we weren't able to send a card before leaving for Britain.  But then, with some guidance from our pal Cherri, we contacted a company called Spotted Zebra Gifts who'll deliver pretty much anything you need ON THE DAY OF ORDER!  Super lovin' this service.  Kind of 'Urban Fetch' in concept they even went to Chapters to pick up a special book which we know our friend will enjoy.  Plus cookies and candy and all sorts from their own product catalogue.   Very impressed by this service!!

Colin's popped out to see his Mum for a couple of hours but I happen to know he's coming home with some Thai food from M&S.   So happy days, happy geighs...
