Another great night on the TIFF party scene...

First port of call, last night, on the Toronto party scene, was the Hello Canada party: a swellegant affair with a never ending cocktail bar and canapies to die for.  Particularly liked the tomato tartin.  A little salty, but delicious nevertheless...

We ran into our pal Muriel and her hubby and chatted boots (hers were amongst the nicest we've ever seen) dinner parties and movies.  We stayed till about 11.30 then headed to ET Canada's TIFF party which was a tented affair on a rooftop in Yorkville.  Walking the red carpet was a fun moment with a million and one snapping lenses.  Red carpet's are always a giggle for us as we each struggle to out do the other to win the prize for best Zoolander face!

Sadly the heavens opened and the rain came pounding through the canvas party tent.  But d'you know what?  It didn't seem to discourage anyone.  And in fact the harder it rained... the harder the beautiful crowd partied.  A really jumping, bustling affair with a zillion and one guests...   And of course Will.I.Am doing his thang.  Only got a quick chance to say hello but what a really lovely guy and SO cute in the flesh!

Next stop was 'Nicki Beach' at The C Lounge where we partied with a bunch of pals from TV.  At 2 am we finally decided to hit the trail and made it back to our condo at 2.15am.  Shattered.... but looking forward to more TIFF fun.

Tonight it's the amFAR party with our hosts from Shangri La and fellow guests Shinan and Linda Evangelista!  But before that we're off to Le Select (one of our favourite semi casual diners) for lunch.    There's food to be scoffed, wine to be drunk and gossip to be had with our pal Colleen who's just set up a new business in the hotel sector.  She's got some interesting ideas for us...
