Settling back in beautifully...

There's something spectacularly special about Toronto.  It's just one of those places that gets under your skin...

Spent most of yesterday with the roof down on the car - between rain clouds, of course: it was pretty drizzly - and then headed to Cherri and David's for dinner. David did beef and all manner of dreamy inclusions and we chatted till the wee small hours about alll sorts.  They're amongst our most special people even though we've only known them for three years since we arrived in Toronto.  Theyve helped us settle into the city so well... Plus they've got three fab cats and a gorgeous dog and we're animal crazy.  So loads in common.

Worked from our condo all day on our Toronto Star column and on our Sunday Mail and Closer columns for the UK.  Then we hit the gym for a wee while before heading out to The Firkin on King for dinner with Janette and the lovely girls.  Please God NEVER let us eat so much beige again.  Limited the Appletini's as we need to keep clear heads for tomorrow.  Got a big day with several meetings and then we're heading to the theatre to see Mrs Brown - a Glasgow production.  the reviews have been great!

For now it's into the jammies.  Earl Grey brewing.  We're SOOOOOOOOO glamorous, n'est pas?
