Just a few days left in Glasgow...

Tickety boo just like new.  Tickled pink at the prospect of getting back to our home from home in Canada for a few weeks.  Work is really starting to kick back off over there so we're heading back to get on with stuff.  Doing the CNE Exhibition in Toronto, as well as a spot on BT and a Zellers store opening (to promotoe our North American bedding line)  in Winnipeg.  We've also got loads of corporate stuff to tie down plus a few TV meetings so we're primed and ready to go!  The Scots are ready to kick some ass!

It's really wonderful to have made a life over there and to have made some really close friends into the bargain, and while Glasgow will always be home, we've fallen in love with all things Torontonian!  So dual existence it certianly looks like being for the next while.  Still, the air miles are fun to collect.  And hoorah - no sign of the varicose veins our trolly dolly friends said we'd suffer a consequence of such regular transatlantic trips...  And that, of course, is always good news!

Made our pilgrimage to the TK Maxx at The Fort today - looking for gorgeous things for the house - but came home wi' nowt.  Some days it's great, some days it's, well, not so great.  Rotating stock and all, so you can never really tell what you're gonna find.

Tonight we finally 'got with the programme' and discovered Glee.  All our pals love it but we'd never slotted it into the C&J psyche.  Until tonight, that is.  Our pal Cherri loaned us the box set and we've just watched two episodes.  Already hooked and if it wasn't for updating our blog (and the fact we have to put the bins out before heading to bed) we'd have crammed in another.  Episode, that is...

Hoping to get a good night's sleep as we're up early bells tomorrow: our tiler is coming to lay granite in our wee laundry room.  And then we're heading off to Kippen to celebrate three years of The Cross Keys, a wonderful pub with rooms owned by Debs and Brian, very close friends of long standing.  AND it's their son Archie's first birthday.  So double bubble.  Really looking forward to seeing them all.

And the bad news?  Well, we've just broken our diet and had three Wiilie Winky sausages.  The food limitation regime had been going so darned well.  Think the glass of red wine muffled our reserve.  Hey ho.  Already made a pledge to run for an extra aten minutes in the morning after our tiler arrives.  That should work off the calories derived from those pesky tubular devils.

Excuse us for now.  The bins need bagged and the curtains need to be drawn...

Off to dream of Glee...

Until tomorrow we bid ye all ae fond kiss...
