A great wee day out!

Before heading back to Toronto on Tuesday we thought it might be fun to experience some of the wonders of our own city so we crammed in a few things to colour our day.  Went to The Riverside Museum (it's all about transport) and have to say we were totally blown away!  Located in the most awesome feat of architecture on the side of The River Clyde, it's crammed full of interesting exhibits and wonderful transport history from vintage cars to trams.  After this we went to House For an Art Lover (a Charles Rennie M masterpiece) for lunch and then took a seaplane ride over Loch Lomond.  So exciting to see our country from 3000 feet above!

After a few hours catching up with paperwork we went to The Barolo Grill in Glasgow for dinner with Peter and Liz and have to report that the food, ambience and service were pretty much perfect.  It's all about Italian staples, updated.  Check it out!

This morning we're getting ready to drive through the rain to Kings Bromley to stay with my sister Carmel, her hubby David and their little guys Fergus and Maxwell.  My Mum and brother Damian are also staying over and tomorrow we're heading to a family wedding in Nottingham so it should be a fun couple of days.

Hope this finds you all well, hale and hearty,

More later,

C and  xx
