Sorry to have missed a couple of days!

Evening all! Sorry we've been quiet of late but we've been working like crazy boys.  Off to London next week to front a 'radio day' for Ideal Standard bathrooms. These radio days consist of being positioned in a central London studio and speaking to radio stations across the country in short junkets.  We've worked with IS for years and are delighted to continue this association!  Essentilally we're talking about why improving, is often better than moving...

Tonight we're off to dinner with two girlfriends that we've not seen for some time so it should be good fun.  A mix of gossip and laughter.   And a general catch up.  And a few shandies we'd have thought...

Trawled around several antique stores today looking for a bathroom credenza and a large armoire.  No luck as yet but the search continues tomorrow!  It's proving difficult to find furniture for our bathrooms but we will NOT be beaten!

Took delivery today of our jet black radiators.  They started life white but have been recoloured by a Scottish firm called CP Spray Finishers. They made a great job!  And on Monday our baby grand piano goes off to be spray laquered deepest ebony by a wonderful Scottish piano retstration company called MacLarens.  When it comes back it will have pride of place in our drawing room, a room that's panelled in French antique grey.  Very blokey!  .

Been watching 'The Scheme' on BBC Scotland and, ahem, wondering why it was ever made.  Seems to exploit the residents of the housing community featured in a way that our show - The Estate - did not.  Ours was all about championing a new way forward.  The Scheme seems to be like a real life Shameless.   And we feel for those involved and worry about the way in which they have been showcased.  We'd love to get your oppinions on this in our forum section so please pop by and let us know what you all think.

Hope all is good in the hood with everyone on here.  Have a great weekend and hopefully some good weather into the bargain.

More later ... xx
