Xscape

Good morning, lovelies!

Had a great wee evening at Xscape last night.  Watched the indoor skiing with our pal Peter then debated whether we should book some lessons.  We'd love to learn but... at our great age and weight?!  Watch this space.  Found a cute wee Japanese noodle bar at the centre and pigged out a wee bit.  Still - life's for enjoying, huh? Diet starts Monday...

Today we're off to find someone to repaint our baby grand piano.  Its currently brown wood and beautiful but we'd like it to be high glossy opera black to sit, pride of place, in our Glasgow drawing room.  Found a place on Clyde Street and we have high hopes.

In other news we're struggling to find a new window cleaner as our last chap has gone awol.  No one seems to want to go any higher than two floors and we're spread over five levels.  But we'll get there, even if we need to don stilts and do it ourselves!

Glass screens coming for our new bathroom later this afternoon.  We're using Wilton Forsyth Glazing, a company we've worked with for years. They'll do a great job, we're sure.  The panels will be the last finishing touch in a project that has taken weeks to perfect.  But we're thrilled with the results.  Next job to tackle is our laundry, which sits next to the bathroom.  We've chosen Bosch appliances as they appear to be the very best on the market.

Booking our travel today as we're heading back shortly to Toronto.  It's going to be a long trip as we have meetings in LA and New York at the same time. Still, we've had a few weeks in Glsgow to get our breath back...

More later... xx
