Staying IN for dinner?

Well, actually... YES!!  At home dining is a real luxury for us, as work tends to keep us out much of the time.  Having the day off from panto was a real bonus and cooking for ourselves was really appealing rather than heading off to some faceless resto'.  Actually, when we say 'cooking for ourselves' we actually meant 'searching the freezer' for something tasty.  As fortune would have it, you see, we had dinner cooked at home a week of so past by our Canadian pals Cherri and David who were holidaying with us in The Dear Green Place.  And they made extra to freeze.  A beautiful beef bourginone and creamy mash, no less.  And take it from us - it was every bit as delicious as it was last week. 

Later, we watched Resident Evil on 3D DVD and now we're doing a wee spot of work before having one last glass of bubbly before bed.  One day all birthdays will be made like this.  Pressure off, chilled out and 'a deux'.  Just what Colin and I had hoped for.  BLISS!!
