Up with the larks!

Off we went along Queen West to check out some of our favourite stores and first stop was Morba.  Crammed to the rafters with all maanner of retro and modern kit, as well as a massive stock of specifiically 'mid century modern' homewares, we felt a surge of inspiration rise!  Next stop was Design Republic where we stumbled across a super glossy white credenza, half price in the sale.  Stephen, the store's owner, it transpires, went to design school with our close friend Laura Fowler so he marked the item down by a further 15%.  Our final price was an astonishing $480.  A REALLY good deal.

Having bagged the credenza, we popped into Off The Wall, our favourite Toronto picture framers, who we've just commisssioned to make a MASSIVE 6'  x 5" custom frame for a piece of artwork we recently shipped in from The USA.  It's going to look gorgeous propped against a wall in our dining room.

And now?  Well, now we're back at our condo, writing our newspaper columns and planning a wee swim in our pool before heading out for dinner with Shaun, Shalini and Tina.  And we're in the mood to party so bring it on!

More later,
