Been a fun weekend so far!

Kicked of the party with a speach by Liz Hurley, at Frasers.  Ms H was there to light the building pink in honour of those suffering from breast cancer.  A wonderful campaigner against this dreadful disease, La Hurley was a genial and informative host.

When the final nibble had been scoffed, and the last glass of bubbly downed,  we headed to Number 29 for a snack with Janice Sue, Peter, Maureen and Pat and we sank a few jars before heading home around midnight.

Today we found a wonderful 1940's bedroom dresser for our Scottish room.  A hundred quid from The Salvarion Army.  A bargain if ever there was one.  Positioned below an antique stages head it looks perfectly at home.

Next up we headed to' Designs on You' with bales of Calzeet tartan to be transformed into elegant toss pillows.  A myriad range of lilac and heather tones they'll look lovely on the big four poster bed.  After this we dashed to TK Max for a few wee accessories and finishing details for various rooms in our Glasgow home.  We HATE overspending but TK Max have great value ranges that seldom dissapoint.

In other news, the last piece of tiling was laid today in our downstairs bathroom and the job, we must report, has been expertly carried out by a friendly bunch of Polish builders who worked like crazy to get the project completed on schedule.  Topps Tiles granite is surprisingly good value and we're really pleased that the project is now, finally, finished.

So at 11.20pm?  Bed time already? Well, we are tired but there's probably just enought time to enjoy a swift cup of Earl Grey before the beckon of slumber lures us into dreamland.

Nite nite, all.  Sleep tight!
