Great night at The Hello Canada party

Ola, lovelies!

We've been a pair of busy wee beavers.  Last night we turned up at The Ultra Supper Club for a great wee party to say ta ta to Ciara, our lovely British pal, who's leaving her position as editor to move to the States with her husband.  When we got there at 10pm it was quiet, but by God - by 11pm it was ROCKING!!!!!  Spent most of the night gabbing with Nathalie Dean, producer at ET Canada, who's a great friend of ours.  In tow she had two of her buddies, the cutest male models you've ever seen.  And both super clever, defying the myth that eye candy has to be dumb.  Looking at their awesome bod's we made a pledge NEVER to eat again...

Within a short while of starting our mix and mingle we couldn't help but pour ourselves into the hospitality bar and fell into a mild euphoric state courtesy of vodka cocktails and red wine.   There were loads of fun people there and we danced till the wee small hours.   Well we like to call it 'dancing' but after all that bevvy it was more like a sequence of strange contortions and ducking and diving...

Had a longish lie in this morning till about 9am, then got up to shower before our pal Shaun and Cory, his co firefighter, came round to finish a plastering job started yesterday.  And we have to report that an AWESOME job was made!!

Job done, we dashed out to The Church Street diner for lunch with Cheryl and Laura and got a few annoyed looks from other diners as we were all laughing so hard.  We LOVE our girls!

After lunch we headed up to Designers Walk to try and find a credenza for our bedroom but,sadly, to no avail.  Checked out Morba, back down town, but again to no avail.  Hey ho - we'll try again tomorrow.

Seeing our gorgeous pal Bob Lawlor this evening for dinner.  He's coming round to our condo for a wee glass of bubbly and then we're heading to The Thomson hotel for dinner.  All sounds fun!
