Ideas to steal? Faux wallpaper achieved with masking tape and two shades of greyscale paint. Ebony handrail achieved by sanding and staining the existing pine rail. 'Wooden' floor is plank flexible vinyl. This was a weekend transformation but we think it adds a commanding first impression to the house. We enjoy your feedback - so don't be shy with your comments.
