Queens Garden Party

Meeting my Mum and sister Carmel (Justin's) and our good pal Peter and planning on having a right Royal time.  The weather forecast is pretty dismal but hopefully it'll clear up by the time our monarch makes her first appearance!  Driving through to Edinburgh in the new Range Rover after lunch and then heading directly to the afternoon event.  After that we're hosting a dinner for our niece Lucy who will be 14 years old tomorrow.  Blimey, that makes us feel a little old!  We so clearly remeber the day she was born!  Were we really only twenty that day?

Carmel is coming back to Glasgow to stay with us for the night and we'll run her to the airport the next day.  It'll be interesting to see what she thinks of our remodelled Glasgow house as she hasn't seen it in over a year!

Hope this finds everyone hale and hearty.  We would say 'Happy Summer' but with the temperatures as basic as they are, it' seems a little innapropriate!   Never mind... maybe Autumn will be warmer...
