Fascinating showing of Casablanca at The Revue Theatre

Fascinating time at The Review theatre last night in Toronto; a fund raising evening of food, chefs and discsussion as well as a showing of Casablanca in this atmospheric old cinema. Walking in was almost like stepping back in time. Reminded us of cinemas from our childhoods. Also a wee bit like the GFT, early bells, in Glasgow.
The Review directors have asked us to host a film of our choice ...in the venue as another fund raiser to help care for this lovely old movie house and we're thrilled to become involved.
They - and we - are thinking that the movie should have a big style quotient and we've suggested 'The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover' or possibly 'The Hunger'. To ensure maximum capacity at the event (and to optimise funds raised) we'd love to know which old movies YOU guys would rock up to see? Any particular fave films that would bring you out in your droves?
Cheers chaps; we'd love your input whether in Canada or anywhere else in the world, Colin and Justin xx
