Great night at Tosca Delfino Fashion Week after event...

After yesterday's Roy Thompson Square fashion extravaganza we headed back to our condo for a quick nap and then dashed off for dinner with Cheryl and Michael.  And take it from us; it's always a tonic to see these guys!  The food in 'Marben' on Wellington was really nice but we couldn't really bring ourselves to tackle the boiled pigs head that was served as part of an entree.  It's not that we're gastronomically shy,  but this was just a wee step too far for us.  Saying that, everything else was inspired and delicious and the buzzing restaurant has clearly made a mark on Toronto's food fraternity as it was absolutely mobbed.  The design of the space was comfy and inviting too; not too modern with lots of wood and a subdued colour scheme.  We'd certainly go back but we'd avoid the pig's head...

After dinner we went to Kiwe for the LG fashion show after party where we met a bunch of the models, the team behind the show and the Grand Cayman event sponsors.  Had a lovely chat with Tosca and she's understandablly excited by how well her swimwear colection has been received!  She's a fab girl and very deserving of her success.  We wish her all the best.

Today, Wednesday, we're having a quiet morning.  Cheryl's coming round with her electrician and we'll be plotting positions for lighting in our two emerging bathrooms.  We say 'emerging' because the rooms are both really big jobs and we reckon they won't complete for another three weeks.  We'll keep you up to speed and will eventually be doing a podcast for The Star, Canada's BIGGEST selling newspaper,  which you'll be able to view online at www.yourhome.ca

Trust this finds you well, hale and hearty,

More later,

C and J xx
